NOTE: This book is in VERY ROUGH condition with soiling and rubbing of the covers and spine, the corners are bumped, there is a slight musty smell, the last 20 pages the corner has some water stain, previous owner’s name is written inside, the edges of the pages have some soiling on it, I did not see any writing on the page, the pages are readable andtight. This is an ex-library book with a cardholder and old markings throughout. Contest includes: yes, I knew him, I said, but it was year ago, in England, you can make things sound very simple when you answering questions on oath and there is a girl at side table scribeling shorthand and giving little shrugs of appeal if the words come too fast. You don’t know what the questioner is trying to get at, and you almost feel that you answer are cross-examining him, and much, much more. This book does not have illustrations. Thanks for looking.
